Has anyone ever bought sports tickets off of Craig's list? I am scouring the internet trying to find Cowboys/Giants tickets for 12/6 and there are some crazy prices right now.
I found some good deals on Craigs list, but I'm nervous.. How do you know if someone is legit?

I wouldn't trust anyone on CL. At least on eBay there is protection if someone screws you over. On CL, it's buyer beware.
1I wouldn't trust buying sports tickets on CL
What are the prices like??
2We have sold tix on CL a few times, but never bought. We are currently selling a pair of Cowboys-Redskins tix through Stub Hub.
3I'm so jealous that you live in Dallas!! Those were my fears.. I mean, unless the person would meet me with tix and not accept payment until then.. haha.
4if u know what ur looking at and u know they are legit tix and ur buying in person I would think about it. But Id neverbuy from anyone on craigslist unless its a face to face transaction
5That is how we sell them on CL. We meet the buyer- usually at a store. We have only been stood up once.
6I've sold tix on CL a few times and had no problem. I've also purchased tix a few times too. I remember the first time I did, I bought Rent tix. I was working and asked Jules if she'd ever done it cause it made me nervous. She says she does it ALL THE TIME with concerts and has never had an issue. I e-mailed a few people and the guy I bought from sounded very professional. I was so nervous because I payed him through Paypal and got e-mailed the tix that you could print...but it all worked out fine. And now he e-mails me every time there's a new show in town and asks if I need tix for it. I have yet to have a bad CL experience- you just have to be careful and use common sense. Easy peasy
7I am wary of buying tix on line like this as well, but it sounds like it might not be such a risk.
