Has anyone ever bought sports tickets off of Craig's list? I am scouring the internet trying to find Cowboys/Giants tickets for 12/6 and there are some crazy prices right now.

I found some good deals on Craigs list, but I'm nervous.. How do you know if someone is legit?

Marry Me

My ex boyfriend, Doug, got engaged this weekend. I am actually really happy for him .. he has always wanted to settle down. I wish his girlfriend was less of a lush and more of a lady.. but, close enough I guess.

When we used to date, we always talked about proposals.. I always said that I didn't think it should be on a holiday (just because I'm selfish and want my own day ) and it should be unique.. Doug emailed me and was so proud of himself for thinking outside the box. It's actually really sweet.. he took Christmas lights and wrote out 'Marry Me' in the grass. He set the yard up with tiki torches, candles, and wine. She wasn't expecting it at all either, which is the best part!

I had another friend who was very artistically gifted. He created a 3-D sculpture out of abstract angles (made with papers, cards, etc.. ) It looked just like a sculpture to the naked eye, but when you put a light behind it, it projected, 'Kell, Will you marry me' onto the wall! That was freakin' awesome.

Ok, I used one of my Old Navy gift cards!! Thank you all for your suggestions!

I'm not too exciting, my Old Navy is kind of boring.. nothing too spectacular..

This was my big purchase! The only thing not on sale.. it's SO COZY and I love the funnel neck.. it fits really well, too

I got two of the long layering tanks and two long sleeved striped shirts on sale. I'm saving the other gift card for when some really cute dresses come in. The $20 ones are really cute, but they aren't right for my goofy body.. they poof out right where my hips are.. which makes them as wide as Africa. Yikes.. Haha.

The rain in Spain

So, my Mom helped my sister and I file our taxes this year.. which means she knows exactly what we got back. Crap.

We haven't done a 'girls trip' in about 5 years. The last time was Ireland and we visited the town our ancestors came from and had such a great time.. but it's been difficult to plan another trip - and get finances in order. Well, now that she knows we each have a little money - it might actually happen!

Continental has an amazing fare from NJ to Barcelona, Spain for $367 - ROUND TRIP including all taxes!! That's pretty amazing. So - we're looking into apartments and what not for a week in April.

Have any of you ever been to Barcelona?? Where is a good location to stay in? What would you recommend we go see or where to stay!? So many questions..

Rat Christmas

While driving around this weekend, a song came on the radio like magic. It was on 'scan,' so I don't even know the station - all I know is that '12 days of Christmas' was being sung by a VERY untalented man.

It was an all rat version.. lyrics like, on the 4th day of Christmas my true love gave to me 4 raaa-ttt stews, 3 rat fangs, 2 dirty rat traps, and a raaatttt dancing merrily. Something RIDICULOUS to that extent. It was so bizarre..

I'm not even kidding, as soon as it was over it transitioned abruptly into classical music. No DJ laughing or commercials - just right into classical music. It was the most bizarro thing ever.

I am hell bent on finding the damn song (mostly for the guy), but can't find it anywhere! It's like the whole thing was a dream!

Does anyone know what the 'eff I'm talking about? I need help finding it..

Something cool that Xerox is doing..

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card (all designed by kids) and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, everyone over there needs to know that we are behind them.
